20.01.2025 - ELSYS Eastern Europe Beograd - Hardware Development Engineer - Power Electronics, Component management engineer ELSYS Eastern Europe Beograd Hardware Development Engineer - Power Electronics This is a full-time hybrid role in Belgrade, with flexibility for remote work. The engineer will be responsible for hardware development, circuit design, electrical engineering, and electronics hardware design, working on cutting-edge technologies and complex architectures. Qualifications Hardware Development and Circuit Design skills Expertise in Electrical Engineering and Electronics Hardware Design Demonstrated experience in developing hardware solutions and innovative designs Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout tools Knowledge of power electronics, analog, and digital circuits Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field  Component management engineer Your responsibilities include: Component Lifecycle Management: Manage component obsolescence for product maintenance and offer evolution. Qualify alternatives and drop-in replacement components for power electronics circuits to address shortages or end-of-life (EOL) situations. Risk Management: Investigate and assess Product Change Notices (PCN), Product Discontinued Notifications (PDN), and changes in norms and standards. Cost Optimization: Contribute to total product cost reduction strategies. Technical Proficiency: Read and interpret electronic component datasheets. Analyze and simulate electronic circuits in power electronics using advanced methods (e.g., Monte Carlo, parameter variation). Conduct circuit testing under laboratory conditions and perform pre-compliance EMC testing. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, such as EN 61800-3. Utilize instrumentation and measurement tools effectively. Tools Knowledge: Proficiency with Silicon Expert. Experience with PDM and ERP systems. Familiarity with schematic design and electronic simulation tools. Qualification and Key requirements: Bachelor`s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Professional experience in hardware development, preferably in electric drive technology. Strong analytical skills for complex problem-solving. Ability to work collaboratively in international teams.
