09.08.2019 - VPC Belgrade - Project Engineer/Electrical Engineer for Rotating Equipment VPC is a part of the Dornier Group which provides consulting services in the field of aviation, energy, water, real estate and mobility. VPC East doo is subsidiary of VPC GmbH Germany, founded in Belgrade in 2008. VPC East provides consultancy and engineering services both, internationally and on the local market. To strengthen its growth process, VPC East doo is looking for new staff member to fill-in the vacant position: Project Engineer/Electrical Engineer for Rotating Equipment Belgrade with the following responsibilities and qualifications: Responsibilities: Consultancy and engineering services for planning and handling of power plant projects involving electrical equipment; Consultancy/engineering services are ranging from a single plant component to complex operation management problems; from pre-feasibility studies to project implementation including – rehabilitation, construction, commissioning, operation and/or maintenance; Assessment of large electrical motors, generators and generator auxiliaries status and operation through analysis of technical documentation, process data and visual inspection; Drawing up tenders and technical specifications; Basic engineering and calculations using standard software engineering tools; Supervision of construction and commissioning of electrical equipment. Qualifications: University degree (Electrical Engineering); Minimum 5 years of proven working experience in thermal and/or hydro power plants and at least 3 years of first-hand experience in operation, maintenance and overhaul of electrical generators; Comprehensive knowledge of the operating principles and maintenance procedures of equipment and machinery used in the power plants; Fluency in English and Serbian language (written and spoken) is mandatory; Other languages would be an advantage, especially German and/or Russian; Engineering Licence(s) for Design and/or Construction in accordance with valid Serbian legislation; Sound knowledge and practical experience with FIDIC Conditions of Contracts would be an advantage; Experience and knowledge of international procurement procedures and contract conditions would be an advantage; Strong computer skills; Sound organisational and drafting capabilities; Flexibility to work as a part of a team in a challenging environment.
