YOUR DUTIES: As a technical sub-project leader, you secure the quality and functionality of our highly modern and internationally used trams (e.g. trams in Doha, The Hague and Munich). You are responsible for the planning of sub-projects for the Engineering (e.g. network planning, flowchart planning, work packages planning, time scheduling and resource planning) and you define countermeasures if deviations happen. In technical customer negotiations you take customer wishes and implement them based on our AVENIO platform, under consideration of economic efficiency. Thereby you professionally manage technical employees (e.g. electrical designers, software engineers, mechanical engineers) and you are the engineering representative in the project management team. Furthermore, you prepare the vehicle testing for the commissioning and meanwhile, you are at the disposal as a technical adviser. Your qualifications - sound and adequate You have a Master`s Degree in the field of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. You have extensive experience in the rolling stock engineering and you have technical understanding of the complete vehicle. Additionally you can gain points with your knowledge of operating requirements in the railway sector. Fluency in English, written and spoken, and willingness to learn German are completing your profile You are ready to travel to our partner locations on a regular basis (Vienna, Krefeld and Erlangen). YOUR DUTIES: Quality assurance of Software, electrotechnical and mechanical components from the start of the project until the series production (according to the norms and international standards) Development and implementation of the Software-QA-Strategy Providing support with the planning, cooperation and implementation of project milestones, including the Quality Gates, are among your tasks Testing of products, initiation of improvement measures during the development Definition, creation and tracking of significant perfomance indicators Support during the implementation of a user-oriented infrastructure under consideration of the development processes You derive the necessary quality assurance measures and define tasks in the standardization of quality processes Consultation and training of departments and project teams in the use of development processes and infrastructure You take accountability for the regular quality reporting in your area of responsibility, whereby you take over the early identification of expected critical situations and as well, if applicable, the definition of mitigation measures Your qualifications - sound and adequate You are in possession of a degree in the field of technical studies Comprehensive knowledge in the field of quality management and quality assurance You stand out with an experience in a project-driven and technical complex environment (e.g. in a infrastructure sector like energy sector or transportation, possibly even plant engineering) Excellent negotiating and presentation skills and a professional and convincing demeanor are among your strengths You are a strong team player, always independent, result- and quality-oriented and you show a high degree of commitment You can actively use different Q-Methods for analysis (e.g. SPICE) and problem solving, whereby you ideally possess knowledge in the technical field of rolling stock Fluency in English, written and spoken, willingness to learn German and readiness to travel are completing your profile Make your mark in our exciting world at Siemens Mobility Please send your CVs in English within the prescribed period Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted |
