12.07.2022 - WSP Belgrade - Protection & Control Engineer (Energy) WSP Belgrade Protection & Control Engineer (Energy) - Belgrade Your new role, what`s involved?: Developing the design of protection and control systems as guided by Principal Engineers and Technical Leads across full project life cycle, from feasibility studies to detailed design for Contractors. The role is focused on secondary systems, but knowledge of primary design will be an advantage. Visiting substations sites to assess project requirements, and then produce design drawings in cooperation with other team members for all aspects of the project from 11kV switch rooms up to 400kV compound layouts. Attending site meetings to support Principal Engineers and Technical Leads, as required. Engineering support for Design, Supply and Construct projects. Act as Owner`s Engineer providing Engineering support such as Tender Evaluation, Design Review in coordination with senior team members On completion of projects, conduct a review to identify any failures, non-conformances and preventable problems YOUR TEAM Come and be part of the Energy team with over 30 engineers and growing further! Our projects span across the whole globe by working both in the region as well as in the UK, Middle East and USA and include some of the largest and most innovative clients in the world Our office is located in Belgrade City centre providing easy commute from every part of the town and proximity of a number of shops, cafes etc We have a hybrid working model with flexible ratio of days spent in the office and working remotely We`d love to hear from you if you have: Experience in the design of protection and control systems substations up to 400kV Knowledge of engineering standards for EHV Plant, substations (including earthing and electrical clearances). The ability to design protection and control systems including schematic and wiring diagrams and use of document control system. An ability to interpret technical documentation relating to the design of protection and control systems Prioritise work in coordination with PMs and technical leads to ensure project timescales are met Positive team working culture An ability to work flexibly across a broad range of substation projects  |
