Problem Resolution Management Engineer - Power Electronics

Your tasks:
Inspect power electronics in (hybrid) electric vehicles at the system, package and component level
Act as interface to internal as well as external customers such as Development, Application Development, Product Line, OEMs - define the components to be analyzed and carry out the analyses in cooperation with Development
Document and discuss results with regard to potential for improvement of proprietary products
Classify proprietary products vis-à-vis the competition and derive recommendations for the development roadmap
Conduct internal result discussions as part of cross-functional meetings
Define standard procedures for inspecting power electronics

Your profile:
University degree with a major in electrical engineering or comparable studies with several years of professional experience, ideally in the international automotive sector
Good knowledge of inverter and electric motor design in automotive applications
Good knowledge of quality management and experience with working in international teams
Good knowledge of circuit technology in power electronics systems and components
Excellent analytical skills, a conceptual and creative mindset, as well as a good technical understanding are prerequisites
Extensive experience in presenting and moderating as well as excellent communication skills and confident appearance
High level of assertiveness and corresponding experience in dealing with intercultural contacts
Strong ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and to act professionally depending on the situation
Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
Willingness to travel

Product Validation Engineer (hybrid drives and electrical axles)

Your tasks as Product Validation Engineer (hybrid drives and electrical axles):
Technical interface for ZF internal testing departments and the project team
Definition of tests. Planning and definition of validation plan (DVP) according to customer and ZF specifications
Planning of testing schedule and testing resources
Test ordering. Parametrization of tests. Reliability analysis.
Evaluation of test results. Writing test reports and validation approval recommendations

Your profile as Product Validation Engineer (hybrid drives and electrical axles):
Successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or similar field
Technical knowledge in mechanics, mechatronics and electric drive concepts
Knowledge in common testing requirements / standards, ideally with focus on climatic/environmental/lifetime
Structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as team spirit and planning & organizational skills
Fluent written and spoken English

System Development Engineer

Your tasks and responsibilities as a System Development Engineer:
Develop and optimize the Electric Drive System with its components and interfaces according to to laws and standards as well as technical and commercial aspects
Develop, integrate and control functionalities of the Electric Drive System
Develop and support system requirements / architecture and system test criteria
Troubleshoot, analyze interferences and support building-up system solutions
Collaborate with sub-systems / components and interface function between all disciplines (electric machine, power electronics, software and mechanics)

Your profile as a System Development Engineer:
Completed Master`s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree
Previous experience or internships are desired
Driven by technology and interested in innovations
Proactive and collaborative as well as flexible and stress-resistant
Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
