06.12.2022 - ABB Beograd - Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer/Segment Sales Specialist ABB Beograd Sales Engineer We are looking for a Sales Engineer, responsible for a full range of Electrification portfolio, distribution solutions to connect, protect, control and measure a wide range of electrical systems for all major industries. In this role you will be a part of the global Sales organization of Business area Electrification, working in a global, dynamic environment with continuous development possibilities. Your responsibilities Working on portfolio of – MV apparatus, MV primary and secondary switchgear, packaging and solutions Analysis of customer expectations, tender requirements Preparation of technical and commercial parts of the offers. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and commercial terms and conditions To promote customer understanding of ABB portfolio offering, and provide suitable solutions in order to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process Clarification of the technical and commercial part of the offer and participation in negotiations Your background Preferred degree: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Desirable work experience on similar position, not mandatory Strong motivation, willingness to learn, expand knowledge and technical skills Previous experience in engineering, commissioning or project management is an advantage Understanding of project electrical documentation, schematics and circuit diagrams Orientation towards achieving goals and solving issues Highly proficient in both spoken and written Serbian language Good knowledge in both spoken and written English language Good knowledge of MS Office applications is mandatory Readiness for travel and visits to customers according to market allocation Driver`s license B Additional information: Team spirit Good communication skills Strong sense of responsibility ![]() Technical Sales Engineer/Segment Sales Specialist Your responsibilities Design of drive and automation system at quotation phase; calculate and specify documentation; support for order execution Preparing formal technical and commercial offers with clear contract terms Creates, plans, execute sales strategy and business development initiatives Defining sales targets for the assigned market segment and accounts, ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow-up process Participate in and developing account plans to meet business and customer needs and implement growth actions Build and maintain customer relationships with key customers Participate in budgeting, marketing, and sales process development Identify and create business opportunities utilizing CRM and other tools Studying customers’ needs and competitors’ offerings through market intelligence and insight from sales team Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken Collaborate with Service department in development and implementation of digital solutions Your background Bachelor/Master engineering or equivalent university degree, preferable Electrical or Automation background At least 3+ years of experience in sales, sales management, or automation engineering A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills Demonstrated experience in management of customer accounts and sales strategy Good understanding of relevant industrial drives and automation applications and related market knowledge Experience in the fields of automation, LV motors and drives or robotics would be considered as ad-vantage Experience in complex sales to multiple channels with multiple customers involved in a project (including general contractors, integrators, technology providers, design offices, OEM’s) is advantage Knowledge and experience of SAP and SFDC (Salesforce) is advantage Fluent in English (both written and spoken) Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. ![]() |
