27.11.2025 - Power Construction Beograd - Responsible Electrical Designer Power Construction Corporation of China Limited Ogranak Beograd Responsible Electrical Designer Job description: The PCCC (Power Construction Corporation of China) is in need of Design Engineers for the metro line project in Belgrade, the Republic of Serbia. To ensure the design project of Belgrade Metro Line 1 moves forward successfully, the daily tasks of this position include, but not limited to: Provide guidance and support to engineers and subcontractors of the company to ensure they are well-acquainted with local laws, regulations, and standards; Participate in discussions and decision-making regarding design plans; Complete the preparation of design-related reports, calculations, and drawings in accordance with the work plan, and actively participate in the review of design deliverables; Double check technical documentation from subcontractors; Attend to all design-related meetings (including meetings between design teams, interface meeting with the client, system contractor or coordination meeting between PowerChina teams, etc.) and give professional opinions when needed; Sign off on design deliverables as the responsible designer; Find proper design resource when unforeseen design task appears and make plan for that; Provide necessary English-Serbian translation for certain documents; Help in the tendering and design of other projects. Qualification: Holding a License 350 or 352 for Electrical installations registered in Serbia; A minimum of 15 years of experience in design or design management; Bachelor`s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related majors are preferred; Experience in project coordination. Additional qualifications that will be considered as an advantage: Fluency in English and Serbian; Prior experience with European metro projects and railways projects; Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling); Previous work experience in or collaboration with Chinese companies.  |
