24.04.2024 - Schneider Electric Beograd - Tendering Engineer Schneider Electric Beograd Tendering Engineer Key Responsibilities Work in collaboration with the salesforce to support and execute strategies to establish products and solutions during design/identification phase; Work in collaboration with Schneider plants and solution centers to prepare quotations; Use Standard quotation and pricing tools within the tendering process to produce quotations; Review and approve tender price/costing estimates and submit for management approval in accordance with the tendering processes; Ensure that formal risk analysis and mitigation is carried out on appropriate tenders and is submitted with approval requests; Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental and safety regulations and professional standards; Actively participate in problem-solving of issues presented. Create & develop innovative ways of streamlining the processes wherever possible within the guidelines and team goals. Participate in projects by managing new initiatives as they arise. Complete or assist with miscellaneous projects as needed; Provide support to other tendering engineers and trainees as needed & interact with other departments to respond to their needs. Provide special project support as required to multiple departments within the organization. Qualifications that would make you successful on the role: Technical background, VI or VII level degree in electrical engineering Working experience (preferably in tendering) could be an advantage Good communication and organizational skills Goal and target oriented Fluency in written and spoken English Passion for learning and continuous improvement Nice to have: Sound commercial knowledge of the customer base and their business drivers Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions Understanding of the function of other departments Understanding of HV and LV Electrical distribution systems Commercial negotiation skills Commercial judgement – ability to estimate the potential value of an enquiry/tender, and the chance of success Intercultural competence Digital skills (full computer literacy, skills in Windows Excel/Word/PowerPoint) Let us learn about you!
