31.05.2024 - Typhoon HIL Novi Sad - Modeling Engineer - Power Systems, Modeling Engineer - Power Electronics Typhoon HIL, Inc. · Novi Sad Modeling Engineer - Power Systems Responsibilities • Developing models of power systems components • Developing software modules to support simulation of power systems components • Developing models of renewable energy sources and integrating actual controllers for them, provided by leading companies in the field. • Creating HIL setups for Grid Protection Devices and Genset Controllers from most popular manufacturers • Supporting customer projects on grid modernization systems and microgrids • Developing test and test automation scripts for controllers Qualifications • Bachelor`s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Control systems or a related field • Experience and/or passion for power systems • Experience and/or passion for working with real controllers used in power systems • Good written and verbal communication skills • Must enjoy working in a team • Knowledge of Python is a plus • Knowledge of English language is required (B1)  Modeling Engineer - Power Electronics Responsibilities • Developing models of power electronics components and electrical machines • Developing software modules to support simulation of power electronics components • Working closely with hardware and firmware engineers to improve the capabilities of a real-time simulation platform • Supporting customer projects on power electronics and transportation electrification systems • Developing test and test automation scripts for controllers Qualifications • Bachelor`s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Control systems or related field • Experience and/or passion for power electronics and/or electrical machines • Experience and/or passion for digital controls and embedded systems • Good written and verbal communication skills • Must enjoy working in a team • Knowledge of Python and C is a plus • Knowledge of English language is required (B1) |
