Leading Project Engineer with experience in HVDC/FACTSCompany: Redstork Solutions Beograd Job position: Leading Project Engineer with experience in HVDC/FACTS Job expires: 28.07.2023 MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Leading Project Engineer Conceptual HVDC/FACTS Studies Feasibility Studies Design Review and Assurance Site and Factory acceptance tests Leading HVDC/FACTS projects and related project tenders (Sub-) Project Management REQUIREMENTS: Experience Experience in the conceptual design of power systems, switch gears, substations, HVDC and FACTS (≥ 5 years). Detailed knowledge in high voltage engineering and design including converter station equipment such as sub-modules/valves, transformers, reactors, and filters. Experience with related design studies and concepts including : Main Circuit Parameter Studies, Insulation Coordination, Dynamic Performance Studies, Transient Stresses Studies, Harmonic Studies, Control and Protection concepts and strategies. Experienced in presenting results to project management and customers. Degrees Postgraduate studies or a Master’s (MSc – Master of Science) Doctorate (PhD – Doctor of Philosophy) is a plus Linguistic competences French: fluent (optional but you should have a basis) English : fluent (mandatory) Other languages: desirable Some trips abroad to be planned Type of contract: Permanent, full time Redstork Solutions is opening a new position based in Belgrade in the field of HVDC Design Engineering ! We are looking for a Leading Project Engineer with experience in HVDC/FACTS, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and project management. A postgraduate degree is required, and fluency in English is mandatory (french is a plus). The position is opened in our Belgrade office, to cooperate with our Lyon`s lab, to participate in HVDC design projects. The RTE international HVDC Lab offers real-time simulation with HVDC/FACTS control replicas. It studies interaction phenomena, tests multi-vendor systems, trains engineers, supports maintenance, tests software updates, and conducts network studies.
