Test Engineer - Power Electronics

Your tasks as a Test engineer for Power Electronic testing (m/f/d):
Specify and plan product specific test systems for climatic/environmental/lifetime testing of power electronic components in the area of E-Mobility (48V & HV)
Procurement of product specific test systems and universal equipment for environmental simulation in coordination with different suppliers
Functional and safety related acceptance of test systems / equipment acc. to common standards
Commissioning, configuration and coordination of test systems for and during verification/validation testing (incl. troubleshooting)
Preparation and evaluation of measurement data as well as documentation/interpretation of the results

Your profile as a Test engineer for Power Electronic testing (m/f/d):
Successfully completed technical skilled-labor training with job experience or equivalent education
Skilled electrician for HV systems (level 2) preferable
Experience and knowledge in test systems in the area of E-Mobility and standard measurement equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, measuring cards)
Experience and knowledge in vector tools (CANoe/CANalyzer and CANape) as well as ETAS software (INCA) preferable
Structured and solution-oriented way of working as well as team spirit and planning & organizational skills
Fluent written and spoken English required, German knowledge is helpful

Problem Resolution Management Engineer - Power Electronics

Your tasks:
Inspect power electronics in (hybrid) electric vehicles at the system, package and component level
Act as interface to internal as well as external customers such as Development, Application Development, Product Line, OEMs - define the components to be analyzed and carry out the analyses in cooperation with Development
Document and discuss results with regard to potential for improvement of proprietary products
Classify proprietary products vis-à-vis the competition and derive recommendations for the development roadmap
Conduct internal result discussions as part of cross-functional meetings
Define standard procedures for inspecting power electronics

Your profile:
University degree with a major in electrical engineering or comparable studies with several years of professional experience, ideally in the international automotive sector
Good knowledge of inverter and electric motor design in automotive applications
Good knowledge of quality management and experience with working in international teams
Good knowledge of circuit technology in power electronics systems and components
Excellent analytical skills, a conceptual and creative mindset, as well as a good technical understanding are prerequisites
Extensive experience in presenting and moderating as well as excellent communication skills and confident appearance
High level of assertiveness and corresponding experience in dealing with intercultural contacts
Strong ability to work in a highly dynamic environment and to act professionally depending on the situation
Fluent knowledge of spoken and written English
Willingness to travel
