Beograd Senior Project Engineer for Photovoltaic projects RESPONSIBILITIES Developing viable and economically sustainable new and existing solar projects. Creating full set Electrical drawings for Utility and Commercial scale Solar projects. Drafting electrical one-line diagrams, panel system designs and conduct PVsyst Analysis. Creating PV Wire schedule and equipment detail sheets. Preparing the Project Plans and supporting documents. Developing CBA analysis for client decision making, participates in the preparation of proposals and preparation of contracts. Conducting site feasibility studies and assists with site surveying for PV layouts, building measurements and solar trajectory, shading, and power output calculations. Reviewing shop drawings, respond to request for information and assist with general construction support services. Ensuring adherence to quality and environmental regulations. Developing target scope of work and ensures projects are progressing on schedule and within budget. Analysing data from customers to determine potential solar savings as necessary. Managing development activities of solar energy projects from feasibility to the start of operation. Managing the zoning, permitting, land rights entitlements and compliance processes. Selecting, managing, and directing third party consultants and development partners. Managing and participating the analysis of incoming solar opportunities/projects. Supporting financial and technical modelling of solar and solar plus energy storage projects. Reviewing requests for proposals and corresponding written responses. Giving technical support to the sales team, collaborating with partners and other Resalta entities, to dare to challenge the status quo and finding ways to optimize budgets when submitting offers in this competitive market; Monitoring all project parameters (quality, cost, schedule) and initiates and manages corrective action in the event of deviations; Ensuring good communication in the project: with the client, team members, vendors/partners, system operators, lender’s engineer, Management; arranges/participates in project meetings. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years experience working as an Engineer for an engineering firm, EPC or Solar Developer. Reference in implementing / leading project manager for min 3MW Solar project. Deep knowledge of PV system components like modules, racking, inverters and BOS. In depth experience with AutoCAD, manual drafting, and electrical line drawing. Understanding of engineering and renewable energy systems. Understanding of solar photovoltaic systems including SCADA. Background in Electrical engineering and some understanding of Medium and High Voltage AC. Background in software like CYMCAP, AmpCalc, SKM, and E-Tap is highly desirable. Proficiency in English. Excellent organisational skills: proficient with MS Excel spreadsheets and data management. An excitement for project development – a desire to create something new from plans. Excellent problem-solving ability. Strong analytical skills. Drivers licence and flexibility to travel across Resalta Group countries of operation. Some additional knowledge and experience in lighting projects is a plus WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US? Your role will be important in the development of strategic PV projects.
