In a view of supporting their new challenging projects, Adecco is searching for motivated candidates for following position based in Doha, Qatar: Responsibilities: Assesses equipment, materials and work force needed to complete large and complex maintenance tasks in order to ensure that maintenance activities meet standards Assists in managing and organizing employees in order to maintain their needs and ensure productivity Assists in the selection of training and in-service programs for maintenance employees Ensures that maintenance employees gain and maintain a thorough understanding of safety regulations Coordinates services and activities of outside contractors as assigned in order to ensure that contracted work is completed in a safe, effective and timely manner Directs assigned maintenance employees in resolving complex and difficult maintenance issues so that locations are maintained in a safe and effective working and learning environment and approved budget Maintains a variety of files and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference, complying with regulatory requirements and established guidelines Maintains assigned tools, equipment and vehicles to ensure their availability as needed to meet assigned maintenance objectives Performs a wide variety of maintenance activities for the purpose of ensuring that maintenance issues are resolved and projects are completed in a safe, effective and timely manner Prepares a variety of documents and reports regarding activities complying with legal requirements Requirements: University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 5 to 7 years of related experience Excellent knowledge of English Computer literacy Candidate’s profile: Very well organized and highly professional Highly developed interpersonal skills, a team player Strong problem solving and decision making skills Strong leadership skills vise informacija Project Engineer Requirements: BS in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in the MEP field Specialist in Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Systems installation process and knowledge of required materials like pipes, fittings, supports, hangers, cables, conduits, …etc. Knowledge of NFPA codes, Local authority requirement, International concern standards like British Standard, ASTM …etc. Familiar with the components of the Sprinkler system, Foam system, Pre-action and Water deluge system, Fire Fighting system, Clean Agent (FM-200) system, Fire Alarm System, Voice Evacuation systems and similar. Experience in people management Fluent in English Excellent computer skills Responsibilities: Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspect of the project. Reviewing the contract terms, specifications, quotation, submittals and approvals. Reviewing the Design drawings and any other engineering deliverables and approvals. Preparing Site progress reports as well as all the necessary project documentation that might include method statements etc... Supervise a group of projects and ensure that the workmanship standards are achieved. Distribute the work and give necessary instructions to his team to execute the work in accordance with the project schedule and the approved drawings. Follow up for all the site requirements such as (installation materials, equipments, tools etc.). Prepare Projects Quality Plans. Ensure prompt preparation and submission of progress claim- including claim for variation- and, if required provide justification of the claims. Ensure timely hand-over (delivery) of project. Reviews to all clients correspondence and preparing the required replies. Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client and management project issues. Extensive regular contact with the assigned project client representative. Review the nature of non-conformities detected at sites and prepares a report with proposed solutions. Prepare and submit report to the projects manager for work progress status on a regular basis and as required. To watch and inspect the construction work and assure that it is done in full accordance with the drawings, technical specifications and bills of quantities. Supervising the works on site in accordance with the contract documents and using the template and procedure established by the consultant. Inspecting and testing materials prior to their use at site as per sample approved by the consultant and ensuring removal of rejected material out from site. Ensuring the correct implementation of the works according to technical specifications, designs and quality of materials. Checking of layout and setting out of buildings w.r.t. existing structures and site levels. Preparing list of tests that may be required and following these tests to be carried out at site. Keeping a log of all test conducted at site. Checking and testing of completed works before they are covered by the contractor, taking photos on a regular basis and also on account of defective work. Checking and ensuring that the site is arranged as per the site management plan and that all measures are taken for site safety and the safety of the third parties in the vicinity of the site. Ensuring that health and safety measures are adopted and followed to the full extent and prepare weekly report and suggest and instruct additional safety measures if needed. Preparation of list of critical items and its close monitoring. Maintain a filing system for all site memos and instructions, measured quantities of work and materials on site, reports and other documents and correspondence pertaining to the construction activities. Maintain a site order book to be made available for the consultants and senior officers to write comments or defects in construction noticed during site visits and carrying out compliance at site.
