On behalf of our client, Vibac Group, one of the worlds leading companies focused on the development and manufacturing of a diversified line of specialty packaging films and pressure–sensitive tapes, we are seeking for a candidate to successfully fulfill the position of: DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE Location: Jagodina Job Description: Ensuring maintenance of corporate assets - property and equipment Developing budget for investments in order to improve production process performances in terms of costs, production time and quality of products Ensuring that investment activities are carried out within agreed budget and on time Assisting in plant / production unit start up Ensuring performance of all activities which are necessary for optimization of the plant Identifying and selecting best suited suppliers; taking care of their technical competences regarding the business needs; cooperating with them and providing all necessary technical specifications Managing maintenance budget Leading a team; motivating team members to achieve objectives Cooperating with HR department regarding the team members trainings and promotions Developing maintenance policies and program interventions based on production needs and existing equipment Suggesting necessary interventions when needed; identifying appropriate solutions and ensuring prompt interventions; taking care of continuity of production Ensuring compliance with regulations and avoiding operating errors; preventing possible damages Provide accurate records of the maintenance Ensuring availability of necessary materials in accordance with timeframes Directly involved in the most important work issues; giving instructions to employees in order to overcome difficulties Proposing new engineering solutions in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the production process Candidate Profile: Faculty degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Ten years of engineering and maintenance experience in a management position within production company Experience in managing operational teams Preferable working experience in flexible packaging industry Fluency in English Italian language will be additional plus Problem solving and decision-making skills Negotiation skills Focus on innovation Customer Focus Analytical thinking The selection process is taking place NOW!
