Being part of a high growth industry our client is committed to meeting the increasing demand for energy efficiency in new and existing homes, nonresidential buildings and industrial applications. With a over a billion EUR turnover and close to 5000 employers they are present in more than 35 countries. We are looking to the soonest possible date for a Head of Electrical Design (m/f) for their factory in Slovenia. Responsibilities: Lead a small design team Provide technical support to our technology team for major projects Define project scopes and cost estimate Perform calculations, design documentation, developing drawings and specifications Seeing projects through the construction documentation phase Work out specifications and drawings (Autocad / Eplan) for power distribution (voltage, frequency, neutral/earthing system, layout of main electrical equipment and cable trays) Express KI rules to KI equipment supplier Collect and check documentation and drawings to work out plant power distribution design Power distribution (MV and LV boards, transformers, cabling) Capacitor banks Backup systems (UPS diesel generators) Earthing (buildings and equipment) External lighting Building lighting (including emergency lighting) Lightning protection Define KI needs to power supplier Give support to existing plants to troubleshoot/modify/improve their power distribution Follow technological evolutions on the market Be a knowledge center and internal consultant for all electrical related issue Required Experience: Qualified candidates must have a University Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of experience designing infrastructure of power systems, power distribution, switchgears, designs including emergency generators, and UPS/battery systems Candidates must be able to communicate and write effectively in English and manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks Candidates must be proficient with AutoCAD, EPLAN or ELCAD, and have a working knowledge of the MS Project, MS Office Candidates should also be willing to travel up to 15% of the time Candidate should have proven leadership abilities and to be able to define plan, and lead the technical project work of a team Candidate should be able to balance between internal and external Engineers and Designers Candidate should have strong people skills and a multicultural understanding What's on offer: Work in international environment Background of a strong international company Possibility to travel abroad Opportunity for selfdevelopment and career growth We are looking forward to your application quoting your salary expectations and reference no FEJG154297.
