EFT is leading the development of a South-East European electricity market, whilst helping to rebuild & expand transmission network & generating facilities through energy trading. ConsulTeam provides professional services to clients in the field of Human Resources Consulting, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development and Staff Administration. On behalf of our client, The EFT Group, we are looking for a proactive and skilled professional to fulfil the following position: Junior Energy Trader The role of the trader requires a comprehensive understanding of electricity trading. The successful candidate will undertake an intensive training and development programme before becoming an authorised Trader. Any knowledge sought beforehand about electricity trading will be an advantage. The objectives of this role are to: * optimise the power trading positions * track and develop portfolio * analyse and make forecasts of energy balances * monitor the market and prepare trend estimations * raise the standard of operational excellence within the team * develop a mindset of continuous improvement and positive change This position will appeal to individuals who are results driven, detail oriented, have strong internal and external communications skills, have the ability to multitask, have great market intuition, thrive in a fast-paced team and work environment and are interested in contributing to achieving business results in a rapidly changing and challenging area of the energy business. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities: * experience in electricity trading / stock market / brokerage houses * a high level of numerical ability and excellent communication skills * the ability to analyse complex commercial information against tight deadlines * the appetite to challenge the norm and execute profitable decisions * an effective team worker who can build and maintain strong relationships * high levels of energy, commitment and integrity * ability to learn on the fly and to remain calm under great pressure * excellent English (another language would be an advantage) * excellent PC skills (MS Office) and statistical tools knowledge If you are confident that you meet the above mentioned requirements and you feel that you are the right person for this position, please send your CV by 31.12.2010. to: konkurseftgroup_61416@infostud.com Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. |
