25.09.2026 - IPS Beograd - Lead Application Engineer SME for OMS (Outage Management Systems) IPS Intelligent Process Solutions Beograd Lead Application Engineer SME for OMS (Outage Management Systems) Your Responsibilities Take a leading role in the implementation and integration of OMS projects for Transmission and Distribution systems, ensuring that solutions are aligned with customer business processes and technical requirements Support the integration of IPS OMS with external systems, including data mapping between GIS, SCADA, EAM, ERP, and other systems Define and document user stories, end-to-end business and technical workflows, project requirements, and test cases, and manage tasks in Jira Identify and report data and process gaps, and work with customers and internal teams to define and optimize configuration and workflows Define test cases and support end-to-end testing, including integration testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of business workflows Support the technical sales process, including requirements analysis, solution design, tender preparation, technical documentation, customer presentations, and product demonstrations Work closely with Product Development, Software Engineering, QA, and Project Management teams to deliver customer solutions in an agile environment Proactively report, present project and task status, and progress to relevant stakeholders Translate customer feedback and operational requirements into clear technical specifications and contribute to the continuous improvement of OMS products and solutions Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to Customers, junior Application Engineers, and new team members, supporting their development in OMS implementation and integration Contribute to the development and maintenance of OMS best practices, standards, processes, and knowledge within the organization Your energy Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree Proven experience in software implementation and integration projects, preferably within the energy and utilities industry Industry-specific domain knowledge and familiarity with utility network models based on the CIM (IEC 61970) standard Master data management: hands-on experience with using and configuring the IPS system Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build close working relationships Proven experience working in both Agile and Waterfall project environments Hands-on proficiency with Jira, including creating and managing tasks, defining user stories, tracking project activities, and reporting progress Willingness and ability to mentor junior engineers, train customers, and support knowledge transfer within the team What we offer An interesting and varied position in a world-leading, internationally active company where you will have the opportunity to be involved in projects worldwide The chance to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), shaping the future of the industry Hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance Flexible arrival time between 8 AM and 9 AM, letting you start your day at your convenience Join a stable company in a thriving industry, offering long-term career security and low employee turnover – a rarity in today’s market Comprehensive private healthcare provided after just 6 months of probation Gym membership subsidy at a fitness center conveniently located across from the office, along with an in-house small activity room for personal workouts.
