Beograd, Niš Electrical Design Engineer - Substation Design Engineer Your Key Responsibilities: Depending on your experience and focus (primary, secondary, or both systems), you will be involved in: Developing technical documentation and detailed designs for substations and electrical facilities (HV/MV/LV). Primary Engineering: Creating layout and section arrangements, busbar calculations, cable system, Earthing and Lighting calculation, and primary equipment selection. Secondary Engineering: Designing protection and control systems, developing schematic, wiring, and single-line diagrams, and generating cable schedules. Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure designs align with international standards and client requirements. Supporting equipment validation and collaborating with field engineers during testing and commissioning phases. Qualifications We Are Looking For: University degree (is an advantage) in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering department) – we welcome candidates of all experience levels (Junior / Medior / Senior). Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD 2D/3D, EPLAN, Elcad, Revit, or similar tools is an advantage). Fluency in English (both written and spoken), as you will be communicating and working with international clients. Strong problem-solving skills, high precision, and a continuous desire to learn and grow professionally.
