Communication with vendor piers, decision making on the best path moving forward, development inspection, supervision of the test cycles execution, go-live preparation, and cutover execution. Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850) used in SCADA systems. Ability to design SCADA systems that meet operational requirements and integrate with existing or new infrastructure. Experience in the integration of SCADA with other systems like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS). Skills in managing, analyzing, and interpreting data collected by SCADA for operational insights and decision-making. ADMS OMS/DMS Subject Matter Expert Summary: The ADMS OMS/DMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for providing specialized expertise in the design, implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of both Outage Management Systems (OMS) and/or Distribution Management Systems (DMS) within an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS). The SME works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure that both the OMS and DMS meet business requirements and function efficiently. ADMS Network Model Specialist Summary: Responsible for the Network Model part of the project during the complete project lifecycle. Communication with vendor and client piers, decision making on the best path moving forward, development inspection, supervision of the test cycles execution, go-live preparation, and cutover execution. Role Description: Develop, Review, Analyze, and/or Update Network Model object and attribute mapping (i.e., source to target) Develop, Review, Analyze, and/or Update Network Model export/import design (i.e., review all logic to ensure meets requirements and there are not any gaps) Perform Data Gap Analysis between the current and new system Analyze available data sources and Identifying data gaps considering requirements necessary for the successful power application utilization Manually build and maintain schematic view and other custom specific views based on legacy source system presentation or other source of data (i.e., paper or pdf maps to ADMS or GIS) Manually build and maintain catalogs, or change existing export format into required import format for purpose of catalog data migration Extract, Import, and Promote circuits and/or substations to ADMS Troubleshoot and resolve issues for circuits and/or substations that are rejected/invalid Record and Monitor performance of each step: Extract, Import, and Synchronization Report status of each circuit and/or substation Create substation single line drawings (if non-existent) Migrate substation internals (topology and connectivity) from one system to another (i.e., MicroStation to ADMS, GIS to ADMS, etc.) Manually build and maintain substation internals (topology and connectivity) based on single line diagrams or other source of data (i.e., paper or pdf maps to ADMS or GIS) Develop success criteria and metrics for circuits and substations Develop validation plan for circuits and substations Validate circuits and substations Report status of validation for each circuit and substation Develop tuning criteria (for OMS and Advanced Apps) for circuits and substations Develop tuning plan for circuits and substations Develop, Review, and Analyze tuning reports Tune circuits and substations by performing corrections on source data Report status of tuning for each circuit and substation Required skills: Comprehensive understanding of electrical distribution network design, operation, and engineering principles.
