14.03.2025 - Dundee Precious Metals Žagubic - Electrical Engineer Dundee Precious Metals Žagubica Electrical Engineer Role Purpose: To provide electrical engineering services and problem resolution in order to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects in compliance with required standards, Company procedures and Environment, Health and Safety regulations, in accordance with the Serbian Mining law. Description of responsibilities: Participates in electrical, “instrumentation and control” checks and engineering design checks; Participates in electrical, “instrumentation and control” engineering projects/field resources and controls project costs to achieve an “in budget” results; Assists preparation of cost estimates and/or bill of materials for project budgets and/or scope definition; Helps create project schedules to achieve on-time project execution and supplier delivery; Provides support to other Discipline Engineers on plant, equipment and instruments; Assists in preparation of technical and detailed projects for submission to ICC and Serbian authorities; Ensures compliance with relevant statutory and government legislation, objectives and priorities for tasks undertaken; Identifies opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies in the development and implementation of the capital works projects by making relevant “instrumentation and control” engineering proposals and solutions; Recommends remedial actions to mitigate schedule delays, scope creep and budget overruns; Participate in preparation of tender documents for engineering works contractors including but not limited to scopes of works, payments, pricing and work schedules; Technically evaluate equipment and plant contractor bids and quotations, based on the requirements set out by the tender documentation or specification; Ensures that the equipment deliveries and construction works are compliant with the relevant specifications and designated scopes; Interacts with suppliers; Interacts with contractors and field operational teams as required; Connects to various source systems as the project requires. Requirements: A Bachelor`s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university required; A master`s degree in electrical engineering can be advantageous for more advanced positions; Licensed with Serbian Chamber of Engineers preferred; 2-3 years relevant work experience as Electrical Project Engineer; 1 year of experience in supervising and directing contractors; Understanding of electrical engineering safety standards; Good knowledge and understanding of electrical and instrumentation design codes and regulations; Previous experience in Mining is preferred.
