22.02.2025 - Siemens Energy Beograd - Bid Manager, Sales Manager Medium/Low Voltage Siemens Energy Beograd Bid Manager (f/m/d) You will be an active contributor to the development of our business unit, helping us to increase market share and you will participate in the creation of new and exciting solutions based on Siemens Energy`s extensive solutions portfolio. This involves challenging existing solutions by being curious, asking questions, and primarily developing solutions that support our customers on their decarbonization journey. Fully responsible for the successful preparation of competitive proposals for large and complex opportunities in the decarbonization and industrial electrification arena with focus on turbine replacement with electric drives, motors with containerized drives and harmonic filters, Waste to Energy, BESS. We expect you to prioritize the customer`s needs and identify effective solution options. We also wish that you will apply your analytical and strategic skills to work systematically and deliver reliable quality for our customers at all stages. Formulating a winning bid strategy in conjunction with Sales Manager with consideration to overall business targets / strategy. Some of your responsibilities will be: Review invitation to tender documentation, customers specifications and understand the project drivers for all opportunities. Preparation of Bid – No Bid documentation and obtaining authorisation to bid. Prepare and compile proposal documentation ensuring that the proposal submission is of a high quality and aligned with customer requirements / instructions and internal procedures. Attend customer pre-tender clarification meetings / presentations to ensure scope is fully clarified and understood. Liaise closely with Engineering, Procurement and Commercial functions in leading external supplier / subcontractor enquiries. Receive, review, and clarify all internal and external supplier / subcontractor inputs to ensure consistency with the tender requirements and all interfaces are co-ordinated. Develop the price calculation based on internal cost estimates, supplier/subcontractor prices and assuring margins in line with business targets. Prepare or coordinate preparation of Proposal letter, Calculation Sheet, Cashflow, Limits of Authorisation, Procurement Schedule, Risk Register etc and obtain management approval in accordance with current signature protocols and internal requirements. Always maintain clear visibility of bid progress and ensure management is informed of progress and key events / developments throughout the tender process. What You Bring University Degree in Engineering or similar 3+ years of experience in sales with the End users and/or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) companies in proposal management Basic knowledge of oil and gas/petrochemical industry The ability to make independent decisions and recommendations to management considering all risks and opportunities and to show leadership whilst doing so The ability to lead and coordinate proposal team and drive proposal preparation process Competitive winning mentality with a readiness to introduce innovative ideas. Always demonstrate a commitment and proficiency towards team working. Ability to build strong internal relationships across departments, functions, and competencies. As Sales Manager for Medium/Low voltage portfolio within Electrification & Automation (EA) you will: Plan sales volumes and potential of all customers in the assigned area and provide data for forecasts and planning Ensure sales goals are met within organization strategy Analyze and evaluate market conditions, track relevant products and solutions of the competition and develop network of potential interested parties in the market Define potential opportunities for placement of solutions, products and services from the division/business unit portfolio Individually perform, prepare and coordinate business acquisitions, or when needed in cooperation with management, sales engineers of other business units or other involved employees Build and maintain a customer focused network in the area of responsibility Prepare technical and commercial aspects of offers, negotiate individually or in cooperation with other involved colleagues and management Define marketing strategy and actively promote products from the division portfolio Coordinate the realization of assignments, may coordinate and contribute to set up the program for placement of products and solutions to customers Contribute to the development of an After Sales Service that is focused on customers` needs Plan and finalize consulting assignments and technical support to partners on technical and commercial level We are looking forward to receiving your application if you have: Minimum 5 years of experience as Sales Manager providing solutions for the Energy market Electrical and Digital technical knowledge; University graduate, preferably in Electrical and/or Electro-mechanical installations Strong communication and social skills with aptitude in growing new relationships with professionals of all levels Experience in dealing with different go to market, from solution to product through system business Strong results orientation; excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills Sales operational experience and data driven attitude Able to collaborate and create business opportunities through the other sales partners Flexible and growth mindset approach Strong English language skills We are looking forward to meeting you! ![]() |
