08.01.2025 - Redstork solutions Beograd - Power System Engineer (CGMES / ROSC Expert) Redstork solutions Beograd Power System Engineer (CGMES / ROSC Expert) About the Role: As a Power System Engineer specializing in CGMES and ROSC, you will help shape the future of European grid interoperability. You will focus on implementing and refining CGMES-based models—standardized formats enabling Europe`s TSOs to share, integrate, and analyze data swiftly. Moreover, you will contribute to ROSC initiatives aimed at improving cross-border coordination, ensuring that transmission grids remain secure and stable under various operating conditions. Your work will span load flow analysis, security analysis, short circuit calculations, and other power system studies necessary to maintain a resilient and sustainable energy supply for millions of European customers. Key Responsibilities: Work with CGMES-based models and workflows that facilitate seamless data exchange among European TSOs. Support the implementation of ROSC processes and tools for improved operational planning, risk assessment, and real-time decision-making. Conduct power system studies (load flow, security analysis, short circuit analysis, etc.) using open-source and proprietary tools. Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand their needs, translating them into technical solutions and best practices. Support and work on open-source solutions and contribute to community-driven initiatives, wherever possible, to advance the broader ecosystem of power system analysis. Provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing with peers, fostering a positive, collaborative, and innovative team environment. What We`re Looking For: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. Experience with CGMES standards, power system modeling, or grid analysis tools (e.g., PowerFactory, PSS®E, or similar). Familiarity with ROSC concepts and ENTSO-e’s common grid modeling practices is a strong plus. Knowledge of programming languages is an advantage. Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse, international teams. A passion for open-source principles, continuous learning, and improving operational excellence.
