Market Applications Sales Specialist Data Center Solution 01.10.2026 - Siemens Energy Beograd Siemens Energy Beograd Market Applications Sales Specialist Data Center Solution Join us as a Market Application Specialist for Data Center Solutions, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping substation solutions across Europe and Africa right from the initial sales stages. You will collaborate closely with Sales and customers, acting as the technical counterpart in discussions to translate market and application requirements into competitive and mature concepts. You will take charge of opportunity development to define the electrical concept and technical scope. When additional expertise is needed, you will lead the technical coordination with engineering teams and factories, ensuring the overall solution maintains its technical integrity and is ready for costing and proposal development. How You`ll Make An Impact Clarify customer requirements, project drivers, specifications, site conditions, and decision criteria in collaboration with Sales. Independently define the substation concept, including the single line diagram, layout, voltage levels, key equipment, interfaces, assumptions, and technical scope. Select and specify the main electrical equipment while developing the technical documentation necessary for customer alignment, costing, and proposal preparation. Validate the complete solution against customer needs, applicable standards, portfolio capabilities, technical risks, and delivery requirements. Coordinate specialist input from engineering teams and factories while retaining technical ownership of the integrated solution. Ensure internal process readiness across opportunity development, technical clarification, costing input, risk clarification, proposal documentation, governance support, and handover preparation. Present and defend the technical concept in customer discussions, handing over the agreed design basis, scope, and open points to the execution organization. What You Bring A degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a comparable engineering field, combined with relevant professional experience. Sound knowledge of single line diagrams, substation layouts, equipment selection, technical specifications, electrical calculations, and applicable standards. Experience with Data Center projects, customer requirements, or the technical development of critical infrastructure solutions is highly beneficial. The ability to explain and defend complex technical decisions clearly in customer discussions. Strong collaboration skills in international and multidisciplinary environments. High ownership, a structured working style, and confidence in independently resolving technical challenges. Fluent English skills are required; additional regional languages are considered an advantage.
