Protection & Control Engineer, Senior Electrical Engineer 15.10.2022 - WSP Beograd WSP Beograd Protection & Control Engineer (Energy) - Belgrade Your new role, what`s involved?: Developing the design of protection and control systems as guided by Principal Engineers and Technical Leads across full project life cycle, from feasibility studies to detailed design for Contractors. The role is focused on secondary systems, but knowledge of primary design will be an advantage. Visiting substations sites to assess project requirements, and then produce design drawings in cooperation with other team members for all aspects of the project from 11kV switch rooms up to 400kV compound layouts. Attending site meetings to support Principal Engineers and Technical Leads, as required. Engineering support for Design, Supply and Construct projects. Act as Owner’s Engineer providing Engineering support such as Tender Evaluation, Design Review in coordination with senior team members On completion of projects, conduct a review to identify any failures, non-conformances and preventable problems Your team Come and be part of the Energy team with over 30 engineers and growing further! Experience in SCADA and telecommunication systems FAT/SAT , commissioning , site support experiences of substation control systems. Knowledge in substation protection systems. Experience in team building and supporting younger engineers. Preferred : Familiar with cyber security requirements. Familiar with renewable energy sources and grid connection requirements. Familiar with P&C , telecommunication systems design in offshore substations.  Senior Electrical Engineer (Energy) - Belgrade Your new role, what`s involved?: Working with the wider project team to lead and develop cost-effective, efficient and innovative solutions to complex problems to create practical designs. Delivering projects in a variety of stages of maturity, including Feasibility Studies, Concept Designs, FEED Studies, Value Engineering and Detailed Design. Preparation and development of Electrical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, cable calculations, cable block diagrams, plant layouts, cable routing, cable containment design, switchgear configurations philosophies and produce bill of materials/quantities for electrical systems. Working with equipment vendors on developing designs of equipment packages and participating in technical evaluations of vendor designs. Developing proposals and bids for the EC&I discipline and contributing to multi-disciplinary proposals. Provide technical leadership and governance. We`d love to hear from you if you have: Degree in relevant Engineering subject supported with post graduate experience in electrical design. Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and a member of relevant Engineering Institute. The ability and desire to assume a lead role in the development of Electrical deliverables. Knowledge of design and construction of power and energy projects. Proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents, design concepts as well as experienced in producing calculations.
