Project Engineer Manager, Senior Electrical Engineer, Protection & Control Engineer 05.08.2022 - WSP Beograd WSP Beograd Project Engineer Manager As Project Engineering Manager you will report into the UK Energy Transition team supporting projects delivered by the various UK teams. You will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including: Leading or supporting Client meetings. Leading a multi-disciplinary design team, to ensure we provide high-quality engineering deliverables at all stages of the project. Working with the project team to manage project progress, risk, budgets and design parameters, playing a critical role in the successful execution of our major projects and continued growth. Support the development of winning proposals, including writing technical content for our bids and providing cost estimates. We`d love to hear from you if you have: Significant experience of managing FEED/detailed design projects in the Energy sector, preferably power generation projects Relevant Degree in an Engineering subject Chartered Engineer and Member of relevant Engineering Institute or working towards attaining Chartership Excellent management, delegation, and leadership skills Working knowledge of relevant international equipment specifications and codes  Senior Electrical Engineer Your new role, what`s involved?: Working with the wider project team to lead and develop cost-effective, efficient and innovative solutions to complex problems to create practical designs. Delivering projects in a variety of stages of maturity, including Feasibility Studies, Concept Designs, FEED Studies, Value Engineering and Detailed Design. Preparation and development of Electrical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, cable calculations, cable block diagrams, plant layouts, cable routing, cable containment design, switchgear configurations philosophies and produce bill of materials/quantities for electrical systems. Working with equipment vendors on developing designs of equipment packages and participating in technical evaluations of vendor designs. Developing proposals and bids for the EC&I discipline and contributing to multi-disciplinary proposals. Provide technical leadership and governance. We`d love to hear from you if you have: Degree in relevant Engineering subject supported with post graduate experience in electrical design. Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and a member of relevant Engineering Institute. The ability and desire to assume a lead role in the development of Electrical deliverables. Knowledge of design and construction of power and energy projects. Proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents, design concepts as well as experienced in producing calculations. Experience of working with design software packages such as Amtech or ETAP etc. Protection & Control Engineer Your new role, what`s involved?: Developing the design of protection and control systems as guided by Principal Engineers and Technical Leads across full project life cycle, from feasibility studies to detailed design for Contractors. The role is focused on secondary systems, but knowledge of primary design will be an advantage. Visiting substations sites to assess project requirements, and then produce design drawings in cooperation with other team members for all aspects of the project from 11kV switch rooms up to 400kV compound layouts. Attending site meetings to support Principal Engineers and Technical Leads, as required. Engineering support for Design, Supply and Construct projects. Act as Owner`s Engineer providing Engineering support such as Tender Evaluation, Design Review in coordination with senior team members On completion of projects, conduct a review to identify any failures, non-conformances and preventable problems We`d love to hear from you if you have: Experience in the design of protection and control systems substations up to 400kV Knowledge of engineering standards for EHV Plant, substations (including earthing and electrical clearances). The ability to design protection and control systems including schematic and wiring diagrams and use of document control system.
