Digital Grid Customer Project Manager (French Speaking) 05.05.2022 - Schneider Electric DMS Beograd Schneider Electric DMS NS Belgrade, Serbia Digital Grid Customer Project Manager (French Speaking) Position overview: The candidate would join the Digital Grid (DG) business unit, as part of Schneider Electric Regional Solution Center Europe. Reporting to the PM/PMO Manager would be responsible for the delivery of complex IT projects to new and existing customers worldwide. These projects are related to the Schneider Electric Digital Grid´s suites of software, such as Advance Distribution Management System (ADMS), ArcFM Solution Suite for GIS systems, Key responsibilities: Lead and execute large-scale customer projects in full or manage projects’ key aspects as part of a wider project/program team(s), while working effectively across multiple business units. Manage the Project Team throughout the lifecycle of the project (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, lessons learned) including task planning, monitoring progress, and controlling deliverables until completion, following the Schneider Electric Customer Project processes and methodology. Identify and alert on execution risks. Be proactive in leading and resolving associated issues and effectively manage claims and variation orders. Ensure effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders and within the Project Team(s) and RSC Management. Act as the primary point of contact for the customer and maintain Project Team interaction: correspondences, emails, calls, and meetings, to ensure consistent execution and customer satisfaction. Take full accountability over project profitability (cost, cash flow & margin) including forecasting, engagements follow-ups and re-forecasting, ensuring timely revenue recognition as per forecast. Monitor and control project progress versus budget spending and strive for gross margin improvement. Manage project contract ensuring fulfillment of Schneider Electric contractual obligations and application of its contractual rights. A systematic review of deviations against specifications, or additional customer requests, following the formal Project Change Control process. Ensure full and effective reporting to management and timely surfacing of project events impacting project performance or compliance with governance or safety principles. Responsible for the proper implementation of Schneider Electric safety standards all along with project execution, and for all parties (Schneider and subcontractors). Conduct lessons learned sessions with internal teams including, Tendering, Sales, Operations and within the Project Team. Preferred skills and experience: Qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline (Engineering and/or Software Business), but please note that candidates with an equivalent level of experience will also be considered 5+ years experience in Project Management roles and a strong track record in Software Project management practices Experience in software solution delivery within an electrical utility segment is a plus, but not mandatory. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Fluency in English and French languages (written and verbal) is a must. The French language is essential for this position Possessing Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) Certification would be an advantage Excellent analytical skills Proven ability to solve problems creatively Strong familiarity with Project Management software tools (MS Excel and MS Project), methodologies, and best practices Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
