By means of power factor correction, the Inductive Motor Optimisation Panel (IMOP) produces immediate savings that average around 10%, but range from 6 % to a impressive 25%. Rather than applying power factor correction on the central transformer Imop focuses on correcting the power factor locally at the very source of reactive load. This in turn allows: 1.
