| The 16th European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference EWTEC2025 | 7th – 11th September 2025 in Madeira, Portugal After organizing the second (Lisbon, 1995) and seventh (Porto, Portugal, 2007) European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference, the IDMEC and Instituto Superior Técnico are delighted to host the 16th European Wave and Tidal Energy Conference from September 7 to 11, 2025 and welcome the wave and tidal community to the Portuguese island of Madeira for EWTEC`25! The conference is to take place at the The VidaMar Resort Hotel Congress Center. This venue faces the sea on sunny Madeira`s southern coastline.
